Our mission, values, and the principles that define the Epsilon Beta Chapter of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc.
Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc. was established to provide a positive organization for Latino men in higher education — one that fosters academic achievement, cultural awareness, community engagement, and an unwavering brotherhood.
The Epsilon Beta Chapter lives this mission every day. We are a chapter built on the backs of men who refused to be invisible — men who chose to build something greater than themselves.
We exist to develop the whole man: academic, professional, cultural, and personal. Our fraternity is not just an organization you join — it is a standard you rise to meet.
"The Mission of Lambda Theta Phi to empower the Latin male through scholarship, Brotherhood, opportunity, and protection of identity and equality."
Epsilon Beta Chapter was honored with an official proclamation from the City of Chattanooga during Hispanic Heritage Month at the La Paz Hispanic Heritage Festival — a recognition of our chapter's service and cultural contributions to the community.
Brother Alex was recognized with the Emerging Latino Leader Award at the 2025 La Paz Latino Leadership Award Ceremony — a proud moment for our chapter and a testament to the leaders Lambda Theta Phi develops.
Brother Alex serves as both a Board Member and Secretary for Fuerza Democrats — demonstrating the political leadership and civic engagement that Lambda Theta Phi continues to foster in its brothers.
Brother Mateo serves as a Board Member on the Board of Directors at La Paz Chattanooga, as well as a member of its Community Advisory Council. In both roles, he plays an active part in shaping the organization's direction and strengthening its mission to empower the Latino community in Southeast Tennessee.
Academic success is a non-negotiable value of Lambda Theta Phi. We support each other through rigorous coursework and hold a chapter GPA standard that reflects our commitment to excellence.
We believe in giving back — to our campus, our local community, and the broader Latino community. Service is not optional; it is who we are.
Lambda brothers are expected to lead — in classrooms, in career, and in community. We develop confident, principled leaders through every experience in our chapter.
We are proud of our Latino roots. We actively celebrate and protect our culture, our history, and the identity of every brother who walks through our door.
The bonds formed in Lambda are lifelong. Through shared experience, accountability, and genuine care for one another, our brotherhood is built to last far beyond any campus.
We hold ourselves to the highest ethical standard — in how we treat people, carry ourselves publicly, and represent the Lambda name every single day.
